现年41岁的利亚姆-罗塞尼尔今年1月8日离开斯特拉斯堡正式接手切尔西，与西汉姆联的比赛前他率领蓝军出战6场，总成绩为5胜1负。
此次切尔西与西汉姆联的伦敦德比吸引了老罗塞尼尔来到现场。现年61岁的勒罗伊-罗塞尼尔球员时代就曾效力过西汉姆联，此外他还在富勒姆、女王公园巡游者、查尔顿以及布里斯托尔城等俱乐部留下过自己的足迹。退役之后，老罗塞尼尔还曾担任过布伦特福德以及塞拉利昂国家队的主教练。
